History of silk:

           Sericulture or Silk production has long and colourful history.

           Unfortunately it is unknown to the most people for the centuries West knew very little about the silk.

          The Roman historian has written in his natural history in 70 BC Silk obtained by removing the down from the leaves with the help of water.
